WeDemand is a groundbreaking marketplace platform for live events that connects artists and fans, both empowering the fans and working as a real time routing tour for artists and promoters. Created by five music fans, operating as Queremos! in Brazil since 2010 and graduate of premier Brazilian accelerator 21212, WeDemand launched in the US in late 2012. The platform has made possible more than 130 shows in 7 countries, by the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, The Kills, Chromeo, Warpaint and many other big names, as well as upcoming acts like BadBadNotGood. WeDemand's potential to change the live music market has resulted in invitations to TechCrunch Disrupt Battlefield 2012, TEDx (Rio), MIT Future of Entertainment (Boston), Canadian Music Week (Toronto), and the Creativity World Forum (Belgium).
