Founded in 2020 by former Salesforce Ventures Japan Head, Shinji Asada, and former BCG Managing Director & Partner Wataru Sakakura. One Capital is a venture capital firm investing in early-stage enterprise software companies, primarily Seed and Series A in Japan.

Fund 1 closed in May 2021, with a size of $165 million, the largest early-stage single fund managed by an independent Japanese firm. Backed by institutional investors and family offices worldwide, One Capital works with amazing entrepreneurs to use technology to improve the lives of millions of people in Japan.
