Matthew Jacobson

Matt joined Battery in 2012 and focuses on investments in Internet, software and services businesses. Prior to Battery, Matt served as the CEO of New York at Groupon, where he led the sales and operations for Groupon’s largest market, growing revenues 220%.

Before Groupon, Matt spent a number of years with Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) a $7.7B private equity and venture capital firm, where he focused on investments in the Internet and Software sectors.
