UCeed Investment Funds
UCeed is the University of Calgary’s group of early-stage investment funds. Managed by Innovate Calgary, UCeed invests $50K - $300K in pre-seed and seed stage companies across various sectors.
The UCeed Haskayne Student Fund (UHSF) is an early-stage venture capital fund operated entirely by a team of top-performing undergraduate and MBA students at the University of Calgary.
Governed by 8 fund managers and supported by a network of fund associates, faculty, notable alumni, and venture partnerships, UHSF’s investments are evaluated, executed, and exited entirely by students. The Fund currently has over $1+ million dollars of assets under management and employs an evergreen structure in which realized returns are reinvested continually. This structure allows UHSF to support, nurture, and contribute to its portfolio companies through both investments.
