Iceni was established in August 2002 with a £3m award from the DTis University Challenge Fund competition, run by the Governments Office of Science and Technology. Together with contributions from the Partner institutions and HSBC Bank, the Fund had a total value of £4m. The Fund may invest from £5k - £500k per project, dependent on need. Iceni is an evergreen fund and the proceeds from successful investments are reinvested in new propositions.
