IAPS NYCU Accelerator
A startup accelerator devoted to empower and advance the growth of early-stage, growth-driven tech startups.
IAPS, the Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy Center at National Chiao Tung University, is a tech-oriented startup accelerator established in 2013. It focuses on empowering and advancing the growth of early-stage, growth-driven tech startups. IAPS has collaborated with over 750 startups and lab techs, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. Each year, startups under its programs raise between 10 to 11 million USD, showcasing the effectiveness of its support. The center offers global acceleration programs, such as the SPIN Accelerator, and hosts events like demo days to connect startups with potential investors and partners. IAPS also provides consulting services and has a co-working space supported by the Taipei City government. The accelerator serves a diverse range of tech startups, helping them commercialize scientific research achievements and manage innovation and development. By offering international marketing and strategic patent support, IAPS plays a crucial role in the startup ecosystem, particularly for non-Taiwanese startups through programs like the Access to Taiwan (A2T) initiative.
